Office of Undergraduate Admissions

Getting to the University of South Carolina should be exciting and confusion-free, and that's where the Office of Undergraduate Admissions comes in. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is full of experts ready to help you through the process.

Please note: South Carolina will be test-optional for fall, spring and summer 2020-21. Freshman admission will be based primarily on high school courses, grades and supplemental materials submitted with the application. While students are encouraged to self-report standardized test scores, they are not required in the admission or scholarship awarding process.

Requirements

Here you can review the requirements for admission and find out all the information you will need before you start your online application. There are slightly different nonfreshman international student, transfer student and readmit application requirements, so check those out if you fit one of those categories.
